4DReg conforms to the standard dispute policies for domains under our management. There are currently two different policies, one for domains with the extension of .uk and another for all other extensions. These policies have been individually vetted and created by many Internet standards organisations.
All registrars in the .biz, .com, .info, .name, .net, and .org top-level domains follow the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (often referred to as the "UDRP"). This policy is currently maintained and overseen by ICANN, who are the body finally responsible for domains ending in .biz, .com, .info, .name, .net, and .org. The policy details can be viewed here: ICANN UDRP Policy.
This procedure was written by Nominet, who administer all .uk domains. Details can be found here: Nominet Dispute Resolution Service.
Note: 4DReg does not enter into any discussions outside the dispute policies outlined above. Any time spent on discussing disputes that is outside the scope of the standard dispute resolution policies above will be charged at the rate of £150.00 per hour.
